Events and tickets

Clubs run ticketed events such as tournaments and courses. You’ll find them on the club’s page under the “Events” tab, each with its dates, a price (“Free” or “from” a starting price) and a “Get tickets” or “Register” button. Clubs also share direct links to events; a shared link works even before you log in, and your ticket arrives by email.

  1. Open the event and choose your tickets under “Choose your tickets”. Some ticket types are marked “Members only”.

  2. When buying more than one, enter a name for each attendee under “Who’s coming?”.

  3. For free tickets, finish with “Register”. For paid tickets, “Checkout” takes you to a Stripe payment page. Payments are processed by Stripe; Quord never sees your card number.

An unfinished checkout holds your tickets for about half an hour, then the order expires. Nothing is charged and the spots are released, offered to the waitlist first when there is one.

Once the order completes, your tickets are confirmed and emailed to you. “Members only” tickets check your membership at the moment you buy; a ticket you already hold stays valid even if your membership ends before the event.

When a ticket type is marked “Sold out” and the club has enabled a waitlist, a “Join waitlist” button appears. Say how many tickets you want and confirm.

If a spot opens up, you get an email with a claim link. The offer has a deadline, shown as “Claim your spot by” a date and time. Follow the link and choose “Claim my spot” (free tickets) or “Claim and pay” (paid tickets). If you miss the deadline, the spot is offered to the next person in line. A lapsed offer also ends your place in the queue, so join the waitlist again if you’re still interested.

Choose “Tickets” in the sidebar to open “My Tickets”. Upcoming events come first, with past ones below. Each order card shows the event, its sessions, the venue, and a ticket code per attendee: that code is what the club checks at the door. A “Checked in” badge appears once you’ve been checked in.

Buying for your child on a family plan puts the ticket in their name, and the confirmation email comes to you, since a child profile has no email address.

Each event has its own cancellation window, set by the club. While it’s open, a “Cancel” button (or “Cancel order” if the order holds several tickets) appears on the order in “My Tickets”. Cancelling refunds the order in full. Once the window closes, the button disappears and you can no longer cancel online. The club can still cancel and refund your order at any time, so ask them if you cannot attend.
